This is definitely a posh hotel with nice rooms, granite bathrooms, fancy restaurants. It is being remodeled, so the walkways smell like paint. Also the mattresses are VERY firm: if you like firm, you will like it, if not - you won't. Location and views are very nice.

The main negative is that it is very far from subway line. However, taxis are very cheap and plentiful.

They had a weekend special of $71 per night, which I think is a good deal given the level of the hotel.
