Hotel de Pereira: Solid, classy choice

A well run, well cared for, very professional place with a convenient central location. It falls a bit short of being a luxury offering, but is as good or better than most of the mid-level US chain hotels (Ramada, Radisson, Sheraton) and has a striking interior in the public areas. You're definitely not roughing it by staying here. The room had mostly ordinary, decent furnishings but had an especially nice bathroom. There is a gym and pool and a nice dining room. It would make a nice option if you're planning to spend time in Pereira or if you're on a road trip and looking for a comfortable stopping point. I would go back.
