Casa Del Alferez
I got married in this hotel January 2004. I stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks+. I was very pleased with the service and the staff. I am American and was treated with much respect. It is an area you can feel safe. The staff was exceptional for everything I needed. And I'm not a rich American. I also stayed at the Intercontental a few days in Cali. Casa Del Alferez is a bit in a quiter part of the city. Would be better for a Romantic stay. Intercontental might be better for a family with Kids. As I recall the casa del alferez didn't have a swimming pool..was the only thing missing from what you would typically expect from a hotel.
Unique Quality: Great Views. Romantic Setting. Quite. Muy Tranquillo.

Good Buisness Hotel
Centerally located, english speaking friendly staff - extremly convenient to visit the center of Cali - the down town
Unique Quality: clean and spacious rooms. Located in a quite corner in one of the small lanes close to the center of the town.
No need of taxi t visit the cit hot spots.
