Sightseeing of the city of Bucaramanga.
Bucaramanga is located in the colombian cordillera oriental in the Deparment of Santander. This city has more than 1 million inhabitants and has a great weather between 20 C - 28 C all year.
This city was funded on June 3, 1539 by Martín Galeano and it is known as a "The beautiful City" because there are a lot of parks into that makes of Bucaramanga a lovely place.
You can also find a several options of restaurants and a colonial architecture to look at.

Airport Palonegro is located out the city in the municipality of Lebrija.
You can arrive at the city:
(i) By car: This is a safe road to go on from Bogotá to Bucaramanga. It is 500 kilometres aproximately and take 7 hours.
(ii) By Air: You can take and airplane chosing between several airlines options: Avianca, Aerorepublica, Satena or Aires (from Medellín). The fligth takes 40 minutes from Bogotá D.C. There you can take a taxi. The cost of the taxis are between US$9 - US$15
(iii) By buses: All the interdepartamental buses arrive to the Bus station that is located into the city. This trip can take 8 or 9 hours. There you can take a taxi. The cost of the taxis are between US$1.5 - US$ 3

Bucaramanga is an university town. There are a distinguished institutions like Universidad Autonoma of Bucaramanga, Pontificia Bolivariana and Universidad Industrial of Santander (UIS).
Its economy is based in the leather industry, poultry farming, coffee (cultivated in la Mesa de Los Santos), stockbreeding and healt services.
