Cabanas de Iruna / Hotel Mompiche: Top quality ! Le meilleur du meilleur ?

The two hotels are situated :
- Cabanas de Iruna : at the far right of the village, when you're watching the ocean (25 minutes walk, and you'll cross a small part of sea (you won't be wet over your knees))
- Hotel Mompiche : at the far left of the village, when you're watching the ocean (5 minutes walk)
These two ones propose "cabanas", really comfortable, but most probably really expensive too (about 20 USD). Have a look, though...

Les deux hotels sont situes :
- Cabanas de Iruna : a droite du village, quand vous regardez la mer (25 minutes de marche et vous passez un petit bras de mer qui ne vous mouillera pas au dessus du genou)
- Hotel Mompiche : a gauche du village en regardant la mer (5 minutes de marche).
Les deux proposent des cabanes : c'est grand luxe, mais c'a l'air cher (on a entendu 20 USD par jour). Mais, vous pouvez essayer...

Hotel Estrellita del Mar: Higher range - Autre standing

Never stayed there either, but I ate in the restaurant that is a component of the hotel area. It's the most expensive, but it's good. The hotel also is expensive (around 7-10 USD) : rooms are really clean, the ground is paved... A bit like Gabeal...

Je n'ai pas dormi la, mais j'ai mange dans le restaurant attenant. C'est le plus cher de Mompiche, mais c'etait bon. L'hotel aussi est cher (7-10 USD), mais les chambres sont propres, le sol pave... Un peu comme le gabeal, en somme...

Hostal Carolina: A bit cheaper - Encore moins cher

I haven't slept there, but it was 3 bucks a night !

J'y ai pas dormi, mais c'est 3 USD la nuit !

Close to the main road : you will listen to the honking of the bus in the early morning, if you want to leave Mompiche to go shopping or visiting elsewhere...

Ca donne sur la rue principale : vous entendrez le klaxon du bus au petit matin, si vous devez vous lever pour faire des courses ou visiter les environs...

Chao Pescao: Cheaper - Moins cher

Recently redeemed by an Argentinian, the rooms are gonna be improved and OK. Around 4 USD a night.

Recemment rachete par un Argentin, les chambres vont etre ameliorees et seront confortables. Autour de 4 USD la nuit.

Mosquito nets ! A bar upstairs.

Y a des moustiquaires ! Et un bar au-dessus de l'hotel.

Hosteria Gabeal: Cool in Monpiche - Tranquiiiiille a Mompiche

Still in construction, but the first houses are very comfortable and are settled just in front of the oceean (remember, the beach is often deesertic !!). Clean and not that expensive (from 5 to 10 USD), condidering the view and las terazas !!! Only problem : the owner is a stupid man, attracted by money more than by his foreign clients.

Toujours en finition, mais les premiers apparts sont tres confortables et constuits en bord de mer (bien desert le bord de mer). Propre et pas cher (entre 5 et 10 USD), vu la vue et les terrasses ! Seul souci : le proprio est bien plus attire par le fric des gringos que par eux, avec qui son attitude desinvolte est limite honteuse.
