The service, food and rooms were fabulous. It was a serene private oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the historical area. We wanted to relax as we had just completed hiking the Inca Trail and we were here for our next journey to the Galapagos.
Nicest hotel in Quito. Highly recommended!
This building is said to be 400 years old. Great architecture. The staff was very friendly, tea/coffee was available free at all times in the library. Food was very good ($8-$12US per entree). Free internet (1 computer).
The location was great. Most people stay in the "new area" (Gringolandia) but I would recommend staying in this area. It's much safer and interesting save for a few restaurants in the new area.
