The location is good, It is near the airport, but there is little to no plane noise. Across the street, connected by a pedestrian bridge, is a large shopping mall with a huge food court. Next to the hotel is a Casino with enough nickle slots to let you gamble without going over budget. It also provides entertainment most nights, so you don't have to stay in your room and watch the TV.
The bad thing about the location is it is not in the city center, so there is nothing worth seeing within walking distance. To see the sites of Guayaquil, you will have to take a cab.
This hotel has everything you expect in a Sheraton, pool, gym, lounge with singers, and good cable. Internet is available in your room via wired network for $10 per day. Wireless is available in the lounge area.
There are several restaurants. The one in the lobby area has a real good breakfast buffet for $8 and a dinner buffet for $14. If you want something lighter or cheaper, the mall food court is just across the street.
