Bamboo Landing: Communal snoring

In addition to the self contained cottages, ther is Bamboo Landing. This is where we were acommodated.

Unique Quality: One large room on two levels with seventten beds! Two sets of showers and toilets, one on each level.

I am next to Len. Oh dear. Not only does he murmur, talk and shout in his sleep, he also sings! It is a very "interesting" couple of nights!

Shanklands Resort: Bamboo Landing

Shankland is a lovely resort set in large grounds on the Essequibo River. Lawns lead between the wooden gingerbread cottages, which range from luxurious to rustic.

Unique Quality: Shanklands has its own jetty, and a small beach on the riverside.
