Pousada Beco do Bispo: Best Hopsitality in Minas Gerais

I fell onto this place over a year ago when I took a bus to the wrong city in Minas Gerais. When I got there - the host spoke perfect english - and Italian. Nitza, the owner, is one of the most charming people on earth - and her staff supports the Pousada to the point you feel like you are at home. Simply put, there is no better place to stay.

Staff, location in town, pool, and awsome breakfast - included in rate.

Everyone in this town was REALLY nice to me.

La Grappa Hotel & Restaurant: Natural Garden Hotel Altos/Paraguay

Only 200 m of the downtown of Altos, the german/paraguayen hotel and restaurant La Grappa lies amid a tropical garden with old timber. The in the year 2002 completed, quietly situated and groomed hotel, decrees over 9 spacious double rooms and a 2 space suite. The rooms are tastefully furnished, with big double bed, desk, bath, radio alarm clocks, air-conditioning / heater and refrigerator incl. Minibar. The terrace with table, chairs and hammock invites to a comfortable get-together.

On wish, they serve your breakfast, midday or dinners outside the restaurant, here.
The pool with big sun terrace and groomed grounds, invites to the reverie. Furthermore, you find our pool and Snackbar with beverages and Tapas here. Day beds, parasols and bathrobes are gratuitously available to you. The room and laundry service looks after you around the clock.

If you can stay with a friend....

If you can stay with a friend. Almost no one has air cinditioning in Caracas V. but you really don't need it. Its hot in the day and cool (60's) at night. Very important to have a friend guide you through the hazzards in Venazuela.

I do not remember the name of the hotel I stayed in while I was in Banos, but it was the best hotel out of all. It was fairly new and cost about 8 dollars a night, for each of us. It was a tall off white building.
$24 a night, U.S dollars.

The hotel was very nice and clean, almost sterile because it was so new. There were no special facilities, although breakfast was served community style in a large room with one large dinner table. This was included in the price of the hotel and the food was decent.

A resort about 45 minutes away from the main city on Margarita Island....will post name when I remember.
My stay was all-inclusive (included airfare, lodging, meals, etc.)

Clean, beautiful lodging and grounds. Very safe and GREAT service at all 3 interior restaurants.

For luxury staying go to the just opened Marina Suites. Modern hotel with different suites, each one decorated in a different style. Was the base of the latest Casacor (show of decorators in Brazil). Very expensive, though!

Breathtaking views over the Leblon beach; near to everything by feet.
New, just opened. Beautiful!!
If you have money don´t go anywhere else!
