Apar-T-otel Porta Westfalica: Asuncion Paraguay good B&B
I've been there for something like 6 month and it's a very good and familiar place. All is included, the room, mini bar, swimming pool, sauna, hamam, pressing...
The price is very attractive (price per room) and the room is european standard (very clean), with TV and mini kitchen.
It's retired from the city center, so very calm.
Perfect, for me it's my 5* Hotel in Asuncion

The Granodos Park Hotel: Great Value
Very comfortable hotel, central to all the sights asuncion has to offer good fitness centre and nice rooftop pool (although very cold in July) excellent cocktail lounge and very decent food, rooms had wireless internet access as well

Trigo del Sur: Paradise in the City!
I was trying to get away from Buenos Aires, have a nice relaxing vacation, sit by the pool, and still have a great location to see the city of Asuncion--I found it all in Trigo del Sur! I loved it, it´s owned by a British couple and you definitely feel at home in this big, terraced home! Its so beautiful, lovely garden with a wonderful swimming pool! And the owners are lovely people, so friendly! I will definitely go back!
Unique Quality: Located in a great residential neighborhood, right by the main streets and the shopping malls! Breakfast, cable, pool...soooo relaxing and peaceful:)

Mandu'ara: Great view
I did not have time enough to enjoy the terrace and the swimming pool, but I climbed to the roof and enjoyed the landscape for a few minutes!
No tuve tiempo suficiente para disfrutar de la terraza y la piscina, pero subí hasta la azotea y disfruté del paisaje por unos minutitos!
Unique Quality: The view from my room was nice, but the view from the roof was just amaizing! There is the small pool and a small terrace with tables and chairs; from there, you can enjoy the skyline and the river, while you have a drink.
La vista desde mi habitación era linda, pero la vista desde la azotea era simplemente espectacular! Allí se encuentra la piscinita y y una pequeña terraza con mesas y sillas; desde allí, pueden disfrutar del panorama de la ciudad y del río, mientras toman algo.

Mandu' arà: Something to remember
As all we know, mandu'arà means "to remember" in Guarani; I spent only one night there, but I remeber it!
Como todos sabemos, mandu'arà significa "para recordar" en guaraní; yo pasé sólo una noche allí, pero la recuerdo perfectamente!
Unique Quality: It is a nicely decorated hotel, with beautiful views; it has a small swimming pool at the top and sauna; the staff is very friendly.
The bad thing is that the bathrooms are really small (especially the shower!)
Es un hotel bien decorado, con hermosas vistas; tiene una pequeña piscina en la azotea y un sauna; el personal es muy amable.
Lo malo es que los baños son realmente pequeños (especialmente los ducheros!)

Villa Morra: Very nice
Villa Morra Suites is a very nice place. It is rated a 5 star Hotel but to me would be more like a 3 star in the states. The service was great however there was only one girl that spoke english, so it was hard for me becasuse i do not speak Spanish at all. Yes thats right i do not speak Spanish at all but I was with my friend from Brazil and , well she speaks several languages.
Unique Quality: The Hotel staff was very nice, Fast, effective and was always there to help! The hotel bill with room service, dinner etc for 2 nights $1.949.478 G about $300 USD. Now there are cheaper places to stay but these were my first two days and i wanted to be comfortable until i got a feel for the area.

Hotel Bavaria: Best value in Asunción
Rooms are air-conditionned which is in Asunción generally necessary. Best breakfast buffet in Paraguay (comes with German ham specialities). Very friendly staff!
Double room incl. breakfast USD 41,oo which is very good value in Asunción.
Unique Quality: two level with verandah around a real nice well-kept park with a small swimmingpool.

Hotel Chaco: Hotel Chaco Asuncion
Located in the center of Asuncion, it has a great location.
Unique Quality: The hotel has air conditioning and a roof top pool, a must for Asuncion. It is clean and has a great restaurant, which includes breakfast in the price. Overall a very comfortable place with great value
