A home away from home....

This was our first port of call in Peru and knew right away that all others would pale in comparison. The garden was a fantastic place to relax and the wood oven in the lounge was perfect for chilly nights. The view of the mountains from our room woke me up at ungodly hours everyday! lol

Unique Quality: Not only was the place great, but the people that ran it were even better. The owners were on vacation but they had a good friend from Montreal, named Denis, running it. He couldn't have been more helpful, getting us plane and bus tickets and even taking us on our first day hike in the Cordillera Blanca. English was spoken which was helpful for our first stop as well. A double was about $6 with private shower/toilet.
