You have to visit in Arequipa this beautiful place where still live some nuns, but where time ago lived more than 400 nuns.
There you find beautiful gardens, kind of museum about life of the nuns, artwork and much more.
Iglesia Santo Domingo

This church is slightly off the beaten path on northern edge of the center, but it's worth the short walk. When we were here, there was some restoration going on, but we were still able to visit with no trouble. The luminous interior glistens with candlelight and is really quite magical.
The church dates to the early 17th century, but was destroyed in a fire in the early 19th century and then rebuilt. There are some subtle elements of Andean and Moorish architecture to be found along with, of course, Spanish colonial style.
Arequipa, Peru

"Arequipa"
We found Arequipa to be a charming city, though it`s look may be deceiving when viewing it from the air as you`re arriving. It`s known as the "White City" due to the white-washed buildings, but very few of these are around to support this claim.
Of all the locations we toured in Peru, we found Arequipa to have the best food and a great deal of charm. The Plaza De Armas is really nice, with rows of terrace restaurants on both sides featuring all variety of foods.
