No major issues

I stayed here a night last week. I wasn't sure how warm the room would be with Arequipa being in the Andes but it was fine. I can´t comment on how in would be in say July though.

The building is bursting with character and probably has an interesting history. Reception staff always tried to be helpful.

The location is a few mins walk up hill from the main square. There´s a restaurant straight across the street and plenty of other amenities etc nearby. There´s pleny others and shops etc around.

Casa Colonial (XVIII)

Es una casa colonial de estilo arequipeño que fue la residencia de un obispo en el siglo XIX.
Es muy agradable con muchos patios interiores , zaguanes , habitaciones abovedadas y un jardín muy cuidado
Ojo!! No cojáis las habitaciones que tienen suelos de madera , son muy ruidosas

It is a colonial house with Arequipa style that was the residence of a Bishop on the XIX century
It is very nice with many patios , hallways , rooms with curved ceilings and a garden
Notice! Do not take the rooms with the wooden floors , are very noisy

Charming in central location

We stayed here in May 2006. The hotel is a short walk from the central square The building is old with lots of little courtyards and each room is individual with its own character. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was simple but ok. I would recommend it highly due to its unique atmosphere.

Unique Quality: Great charm. Central location.

Opinion of Price: less expensive than average
