Casa de Mama Gloria: Bed and Breakfast in Calca

We stayed there two days. The hotel was brand new and very comfortable. Mama Gloria cooked and prepared wonderful soups. The owner, Rocio Alvarez, spoke English and provided guide services to Macchu Picchu, Pisac, and Cuzco. Having lived in Portland, Oregon for five years; she knows what is expected in a fine hotel.

The beds were large and warm. The deck on the top was beautiful at night with the clear cool air. The lounging area in the living room was very comfortable. The views of the mountains and the corn fields was extremely peaceful.
