Walk to Moray and Salinas
From Urubamba we decided to do a walk to Moray and Salinas (see things to do tips).
First we took a taxi to the road to Maras (you can also ask to drive all the way to Maras (if you're a sissy haha) Then walk to Maras, from the plaza the armas there are indicators to Moray. You can take two ways. Or you walk on the road(longest and a bit boring) or follow the blue arrows(walking track). Ask the locals where the walking track is.
Once in Moray you normaly walk back to Maras and then to Salinas. On the way back to Maras some kids told us there was a shortcut. For a few soles they would guide us there. So we went for that option. It wasn't a road we just walk though fields, the scenery was awesome.
Eventually we ended up on the road to Salinas, said goodbye to the kids and went on to Salinas. From Salinas we walked over the salinas to a small village (forgot the name sorry) there we asked the way back to Urubamba.
The whole track is about 30 km and possible to do in a day. Leave on time though.
