Hotel Embassy Beach: Clean, Nice, a little pricey
Very nice landscaping and pool. The bars were closed for winter, but I believe there is a swim up bar during the warmer months. The rooms were very large & nice. Staff speaks minimal English. The food was good but a little over priced.
Swim up bar, pool, huge beds. Cruz Del Sol drops off and picks up here.

Hotel Paracas: Relaxing
Hotel Paracas is the best hotel here. Very comfortable with many things to do and relax. Bungalow-type rooms, sea view and garden view, the latter a little less expensive. Excursions organised, a.o. the Islas Ballestas ('mini-Galapagos"), Reserva Natural de Paracas, Tambo Colorado, Nasca lines etc. Not cheap, count on 70 Euros per person per night, all meals included (package deal, high season, sea view). In the weekend many Limeños come here. The hotel has an office in Lima, Miraflores, on Jr. Libertad, just off the Av. Pardo, near the Parque Kennedy. (Not sure if this is still the case after the remodelling).
Transport from Lima by bus (3.5 to 4 hours) by Cruz del Sur (the best in my opinion) and Ormeño. Also onwards to Ica and Nasca. I stay here every time I'm in Peru.
Info January 2007
Update January 2009: The hotel is still closed due to remodelling after the earthquake of 2007.
Update November 2009: The hotel re-opened Nov. 2009 but now as part of the Libertador Hotels chain. Prices may have gone up.

Hotel El Condor: Hotel El Condor
We visisted this hotel when staying at the well-knowned Hotel Paracas, but until now we never stayed here, yet. This hotel El Condor is a little further than the H. Paracas, so when arriving by bus (Ormeño) from Lima at H. Paracas take a taxi. It looks very nice, clean, rooms with seaside views or garden views. A little less expensive than the H. Paracas but also less activities. But still a nice alternative for the H. Paracas which is always full with foreign tourists, most of them passing through. Lunch and dinner served at their bar/restaurant for about 6-8 Euros. Rooms between 55-70 Euros. Take a look at their website.
For transportation take a look at my Peru-transportation page.
