This is mostly a hostel type accommodation, but there is also an option for private rooms with bathrooms in the garden area as well as inside this huge home (mini-mansion) that gives it a typical "Bed and Breakfast" feel like in the US or Europe. The services are warm and personalized. Robert is a good host, Maria a great cook and full of warmth, and Lea is wonderful and all-embracing. The driver is ever patient and ensures your safety while in his taxi. Overall, I like to stay in places like these because it gives your stay a "homely" feel unlike your regular impersonal hotel experience. The only disadvantage is that it can get quite cold in the room (I stayed in "Alpamayo") and I do not remember having hot water in the shower, therefore I always took a cold shower in the 2 days that I stayed here.
It's a really nice, old, and grand looking home in the mansion-lined area of Miraflores. It is close to the Indian Market and about a 10 minute taxi ride to Larcomar by the ocean. The staff, management, and owners are warm and welcoming.
