Barranco´s Backpackers Inn
Barranco's Backpackers Inn is a pleasant establishment in the Barranco district of Lima. Easy walking distance of some colorful colonial architecture and the ocean. The manager lady is very pleasant and helpful. Security is top notch. The hotel itself is colorfully and thoughtfully decorated. The usual continental breakfast of Peru is provided. (roll and butter and jam with instant coffee) Overall for 30$ a night for a double this is a great bet. Rooms are small but functional. About a 45 minute ride from the airport. Hotel will arrange pickup for reasonable price

Friendly place
I have no idea where this hostel is but it's quite convenient, in the middle of local buildings. A small nite market nearby, a handful of restaurants and bars downstairs.... Breakfast is served at an open restaurant downstairs.

Barranco's Backapackers Inn
After looking around the Backpackers Hostels in Miraflores, I took a bus to check this place in Barranco, another area southernmost.
This hostel happened to be in an excellent location, by the seaside, near a busy square with many v¡bars and restaurants, but really quiet and peaceful at night.
They have only dormitories, with ensuite WC and hot shower (shared for the 8 persons on the dormitory), and a dining room & kitchen.
Unique Quality: They offer transfer to/from the airport for a little less than a normal taxi (10 USD instead of 14)

The Point, is situated in a beautiful colonial house overlooking the sea in the tranquil bohemian neighbourhood of Barranco. It's surrounded by the best nightlife in Lima and contrasting flower parks
