A nice place to stay in Lima
It's a nice small guesthouse located in Miraflores. The room was clean and there was complimentary water and shampoo/shower gel.
Breakfast is served outside. The staff will bring you bread, butter, jam and eggs. There's a buffet where you can get tea, coffee, juice, milk and fruit.
The downside of a large city is the noise, you'll hear cars honking all through the night. Bring earplugs if you're not used to the noise! Not just for the cars, but the parrots are also quite noisy, particularly early in the morning.
There are three parrots, two outside near the gate and one in the breakfast area. There's also a turtle roaming in the front garden.
It's a good, basic place to stay and I would recommend it. Just don't expect anything fancy!
Unique Quality: The location is convenient. You can walk to Larcomar in about 15 minutes. You'll need to take a cab to downtown Lima though.
The hostal has one computer with internet, which is shut off around 10 pm.
