Stayed here a total of 4 nights. It has internet, kitchen facilities, etc and was full just about every day we were there. They even accommodate small RV's. The first night I got there it was around 2am so after telling them I just needed a bunk as myg/f arriving the next day had a room reserved, they offered me a room for $15 a night which I should have paid for. In the end Kim paid for the rooms and they charged her full price $22. While they tend to be friendly and the place is clean they do run their scams. They charge 30-35 soles to bring you from the airport which I passed on and got my own ride for a few bucks less. When Kim paid for the ride she asked the cab driver what he got and found out the hostel took a small fee for setting up the ride.
Unique Quality: This place is in a quiet part of Miraflores...Most of Miraflores is quiet though. It is a 5 min walk to the cliffs and maybe 10 min to Kennedy Park where all the bars and tourist restaurants are.
We had a room with a private bath but no hot water...not a big problem as it was hot most of the time but the common showers inside were clean and did have hot water.
Aside from the petty $$$ issues the staff is otherwise kind and will offer advice on places to go...Just watch there directions. My buddy lives about 15 min away and they got the cab driver lost with the directions.
