This hotel has got be one of the worth that I have stayed in so for for US$ 60.00. Even though I was provided a suite it was awful.
1. The light switches were mostly broken.
2. The carpet was very dirty
3. The sofas in the sitting area were dated and dirty
4. The Mini bar was always locked and never opened in the 4 days I was there
5. The first day I was missing towels and almost evey day I had to call housekeeping to get a full set of towels.
6. The door ro the balcony could never be locked.
7. No drinking water provided.
8. No stationary or pens provided
9. The airconditioner was noise ever after they claimed they fixed it, it did not improve.
10. The kitched fumes escaped into the bathroom from down stairs and bathroom always smelled awful
11. The hot and cold water in the tub was never working properly.
12. Jacuzi never worked.
13. Toilet continously flushed sometimes.
14. Two days the shampoo was not replaced.
15. The Phone did not work to make local calls and had to call front desk to get it unlocked.
So as you can see a bad experience over all.

As I stayed at the Maria Angola hotel on La Paz in Miraflores I got to walk up and down the La Paz.
There are a number of fine ornament, jewellery and antigue shops on La Paz.
The price is up to your negotiation skills and depending on how bad the shopkeeper want to sell.
However I found it to be an intersting and safe area to window shop. Mostly Antiques and fine collectibles.
Try for Peruvian food PUnta Arenas
Jiron Santa Teresa altura cuadra 2 AVda Huaylas
in the district of Chorrillos.
For French Food try Astrid y Gaston
Cantuarias Street Miraflores
For International food
try Carlin Pasaje Suche Avda La Paz near Maria Angola
hotel.
For a long selection of Peruvian food also highland food try Señorio de Sulco Malecon Cisneros
Miraflores.
Punta Arenas try to be at 1 pm because it gets full
it is pricely reasonable tiradito cost 22 soles
Carlin 45 soles for one dish
Astrid y Gasto 45 soles for a dish first quality french restaurant Punta Arenas try Tiradito
Carlin lenguado Salsa Alcachofas
The Maria Angola hotel and Del Pilar hotel are about the same price. Anyone has any comments about which one is better. The Maria Angola seems to have nicer rooms.
