More about Radisson Hotel Decapolis Miraflores
Attention to detail...
by TripAdvisor Member sciutto
We really enjoyed our stay at the Radisson Decapolis in Miraflores.
Breakfast buffet was great, rooms were comfortable and clean, gym was reasonably equipped, and the sauna was very relaxing specially after exercising...
What was remarkable was the attention to detail. The personnel were very courteous, and anticipated all our needs and wants.
They even surprised me with a birthday cake, compliments of the hotel :-)
The only thing that we didn't like that much was the decor. It was nice, very modern / retro / pop that is not typically our preference.
Overall, the hotel's service was impeccable and the price extremely reasonable for the service.
I could not recommend it enough!
Excellent hotel, friendly staff, convenient location
by TripAdvisor Member Kamante
An excellent hotel; had a reservation for a superior guest room, queen size bed, including breakfast, free internet (dsl in the room) and 30 soles credit per night to spend in the Miso restaurant. The room was 102--190 dollars per night, (high rate weekdays, lower rate Friday night).
Besides internet access in the room, there are also 4 free internet computer in the lobby and there is wireless reception on some floors.
Hotel personnel are very friendly and most speak very well English. Special compliments for the men in grey, the concierges who were quick to help out with all our questions.
The food in the Miso restaurant and for room service is good. Breakfast was plenty and very nice, with a variety of fruit that made me think of a Caribbean resort.
The hotel, room and bathroom look quite new, with some nice design decor in the restaurant and lobby. The safety box in the room is big enough for laptop, the room has a big flat screen TV, sleep timer on the remote, and there are some English spoken channels available.
The room has a side view towards the ocean. There is some traffic noise during the day, but it is not very intrusive when the windows are closed. There was very little traffic during the night.
The bathroom is large and has nice fluffy towels and good water pressure in the shower.
The hotel has a swimming pool, in a nice lounge/bar area. The pool is nice for a plunge, but much too small to do laps.
The location of the hotel in Miraflores –a safe and upper class neighborhood- is convenient; a max 5-minute walk to the ocean and Love Park. A few steps further you can see people hangliding, or try a tandem jump yourself.
It is a 10-minute walk to Largomar – a modern shopping mall near the Marriott hotel, where there are some nice restaurants with a view over the ocean, but also some fast food places. Across from the hotel is a tennis club. The area around the hotel seemed very very safe.
Only one thing could be better; a bathrobe in a bigger size than S would also be nice for those tall Europeans :-)
But that is a minor point; I definitely recommend this hotel!
Excellent

Weekend rate of aprox US$130 was excellent value for a suite: massive bed, crisp sheets, huge room and bath as well as shower. Super fast internet connection in the business centre (they have wi-fi as well). All modern and slick with bar type-feel to reception including cool music.
Staff were very helpful and recommended an excellent medical clinic for my wife who was ill at the time.
Superb breakfast buffet and eggs to order (including benedict - a first during our 7 week trip so far in Peru!). Room service also top rate.
Nice modern hotel in very nice part of Lima!
by TripAdvisor Member cvliang
Modern hotel with very nice rooms. Our room was so spacious and it was quite a treat to come back after being in *less* nice hotels in rural parts of Peru.
The breakfast was good with nice decor. Be sure to order stuff off of the menu which is also included as part of the free buffet we got.
The only thing I would caution people about is this...the car service the hotel uses is very shady. We asked the hotel to call for a taxi for us and told us it would be $6 USD to our location. However, the drive charged us $8 USD. While $2 really doesn't matter to us, it's the dishonesty I really cannot stand.
AAA members get $10 off per night. They are a real stickler about this, so make sure the name matches EXACTLY.
Amazing hotel

We stayed at this ultra hip, modern hotel after spending 4 rustic nights in Cusco. What a beautiful relief...the staff was amazing, recommending incredible restaurants and being ever-ready to help out, using excellent English. Somewhat wary of "hotel food", we opted for sushi one night in the bar, and it was INCREDIBLE...some of the best, freshest sushi I have ever had.
Boutique style hotel near the best of Lima/Miraflores!
by TripAdvisor Member TravelJunkieFR
We came to Peru for my cousin's wedding and stayed at the Radisson for two nights. This hotel is so not Lima, but a total breath of fresh air. It's situated a few blocks from the beach malecon, Larcomar and el Parque del Amor - pretty much all the places you would want to walk to in the area. The big casinos are near by too, if you're into that. We reserved a Superior room and when checking in, we requested a corner room with a view of the ocean. They were happy to oblige. Our room, I believe from looking at the blueprint on the door, was smaller than most, but we had a great view of the ocean, so it was worth it.
Everything was spotless and new, and most importantly, for Lima, quiet. We were on the sixth floor and only rarely did we hear the traffic below. The lobby staff is great and they jump to help you out with anything you need. Having a $10 daily allowance for drinks is nice (doesn't quite cover two drinks, but a nice gesture, nonetheless) and the complimentary breakfast was delicious with a huge spread of fruits, cheeses, meats and juices. Hot items are part of the price too, but that wasn't clear to us until our last day since they give you a menu with the choices that include prices and they don't mention that it's part of the included breakfast, even to a Spanish speaker.
Internet was easy to come by in the Business Center with only a short waits in the early morning and afternoon due to people posting their pictures from Cusco on Facebook. :)
This is a great hotel for a great price. We had family and friends staying at other nearby hotels - Crowne Plaza, Miraflores Park Hotel - and everyone thought we got the best deal.
Hotel decor is totally Kimpton/boutique style with mood lighting, modern furnishings, dark wood and marble. Very hip and young, but open to everyone.
Only downside for us, which was kind of a bummer b/c the rest of the experience was so great is that there is no signage/notice anywhere in the room that they charge you for local calls you make. We thought we were saving money by using the room phone as opposed to our cell so we were a little surprised to get charged $50 for local calls. They refused to comp us for this, although I totally think it was in their power to do so, and they said they didn't think a notice was necessary b/c all hotels do this. Hotels in Lima might do this, but not frequenting other hotels in Lima, we did not know this. It was a bummer to end the trip on this note, but I still recommend this hotel to others. Just know not to use the phone if you can help it!
Great Hotel, Great Area

Spent 3 nights in this hotel on a recent trip to Peru - loved it- great bar/sushi lounge.
Location was perfect, close to all the good restaurants and shopping in Miraflores - found a very cool clothes boutique (Rockture) 2 blocks away on Calle Ocharan, across the road was a great restaurant (Rafaels) aswell.
Gave me a free upgrade so I have to love it!
by TripAdvisor Member OC_Adventurer
They were a little backed up at check-in but out of nowhere they upgraded me to a junior suite for free without my expressing any frustration at the slow check-in. Wonderful! Strong internet in the room, directv with lots of options was great. Solid hotel and a very good value compared to Brazil and Argentina. Plus, it's in the best part of town BY FAR - Miraflores.
* The hotel had a taxi for us which was a private car. It was more expensive than a normal taxi. If you want the cheaper route, just stick with the yellow taxis and they were great.
Great Hotel

I'm sure the Radisson Decapolis Miraflores is one of the best choices in Lima. A great and modern Hotel, fully serviced and with a young and proffesional staff.
I was in Lima for business during two weeks, and the Radisson has been my home 12.000km away from my family. The location in Miraflores only two blocks from the Pacific, allows you to enjoy the best of Lima in a walking distance.
Certainly I'll come back to the Radisson with my family, next time I visit Peru.
Awesome hotel!

Fantastic hotel!! We got upgraded to a junior suite, without even asking for it. The room was NICE!, buffet breakfast (with eggs to order) was good, the service pretty good as well.
We got there after midnight on the last day of our 10 day trip to Peru. Were completely exhausted and had originally planned to head straight to bed. During check-in we heard the awesome music from the bar/ lounge area, so we had to go check it out.
Great ambience, amazing Pisco sours - all in all a great evening!
Walking distance from the Parque del Amor or the "love park", great views of the ocean.
Highly recommend the hotel.
