Nice hotel and very good service

I do recommend this hotel because they have a very good service, my stay in this place was really comfortable. They are in a good location, the staff is very friendly, rooms are comfortable and the price is really good for the service you get

This place isn't safe, I don't recommend it at all

I had a bad experience at this hotel. Three days after being at this place money was taken from our luggage (I traveled with my wife, fiancee by that time). The hotel in compensation for this offered us free safety box (costs $ 5 per day and is not included in the price of the room) which we accept because we thought maybe the robbery was an isolated incident, and we were very busy doing papers in several embassies (we are of different nationalities) to go from one hotel to another in an unknown country. Seven days after the first robbery, my laptop disappeared from the room (leaving all the cables and charger included) and the hotel also did not respond at all, and instead found a hostile attitude from the administrator (Mrs. Irene Benitez) who suggested that it was a move from me and my wife for not paying the rent and that it "never happened in the hotel" and we "did not have any laptop". They never wanted to provide the security video, and no will from the hotel administration to help us to resolve this incident. I went to the police, gave my statement, and started a claim with the Indecopi (the entity responsible for regulating these incidents), demanding the return of my laptop and all its contents (or the equivalent) but despite all this efforts, I never recovered absolutely nothing, not even received an apology from the hotel.

I emphasize that in general, plant personnel on this site is friendly, the only one showing negative attitude was the lady mentioned. In addition the hotel photos on the internet do not reflect the reality of the physical plant, quite modest for what they announce (we had a room of 3 x 3 meters on the third floor, with a tiny 14 " TV); breakfast is cheap (a portion of bread, some butter balls, artificial orange juice and coffee with milk), the internet is poor, and often we had to go down to the first floor to locate the computer room as the wi-fi service offered by the hotel was not operating properly.

For $45 dollars a night I found (besides higly insecure because we were robbed not once but twice) this place quite expensive. The last four days (the theft of the laptop made us want to go out of there before more of our stuff dissapear) were spent in "Residencial Sori”, located in the area of San Isidro, where for $33 dollars per day we rented a studio apartment spacious, safe, in a very nice place, and fully equiped with all the services.

For these reasons I do not recommend AT ALL Soulmate Inn Hotel. There are better and cheaper options.
