You don´t have to be a Christian Missionary to vis

Tarapoto is a bit off the backpacker circuit. It´s friendly and worth a stop, if not for the nice hostal and great pizza. NEarby tourist trips include the waterfalls. The moto drivers are a bit agressive, but mostly are friendly and helpful. This photo shows some kids sleeping on the streets just down from my hotel
