My sister and I are looking to spend 3 nights over the Christmas holiday in Punta del Este but aren't finding any available hotels online. We'd like to stay the 23rd - 26th of Dec. Does anyone have ideas on a way to find available rooms?
Very nice hotel is Remanso www.hotelremanso.com.uy $150 a night
Palace www.visit-uruguay.com/es/palace.htm (closed in winter) $125 a night

One of the main reasons, why people visist Punta del Este (apart from its nightlife) are the many beaches. There are several in Punta del Este such as the Playa Mansa (in the picture) or the Playa Brava. Further away from Punta, Jose Ignacio and Barra/Manantiales also offer some excellent beaches.
