Has great waterfront views of rio Plata!
It was pleasant, quiet, clean. Room service was quick, but don't order a "margarita" at the bar as I don't think the bartender or anyone in Uruguay can make a good one. Stick with the cerveza or scotch on the rocks for faster and reliable service. The pizza with provolone cheese was, however, one of the best I've ever had!
Unique Quality: Great view of rio Plata waterfront! But, be prepared to haul your own luggage to your room as there were no bellhops available when I checked in and checked out. Just keep in mind that this is not HongKong, Manila or Tokyo where bellhops practically stumble over each other racing to help you with your luggage!

Spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean
I spent several days at this hotel which is somewhat outside the city center at the seaside of Montevideo. The view of the Atlantic Ocean is spectacular from this hotel - get a room with a view! The restaurant at the hotel was also a pleasant surprise - I had several good meals and good wines there. The staff was friendly and forthcoming.

Spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean
