    Very good service, nice peolple, the instalation are very good and very clean.

    The food it is excelent!!!!!!

    The bed have mosquiteros (help keeping mosquiros away)

    The best way for my to live this natural paradise is the tent: next time I want to spend some days there in the compleete freedom....
    Before camping u have to ask the permission to the Imparque office, near the playground at the end of the village.
    Ask to a fishermen to take u on the island u choose, buy the food and the beverages if u go on a desert island and enjoy your stay....remember when u leave the beach to take with u the garbage!

    A couple of years ago, the original builtders-owners of this "posada" (Mr.and Mrs. Di Prisco) sold it. It was the finest place to arrive in Los Roques and the most expensive one as well. $ 200 per day, per person, that included all of what you can think off: gourmet meals, drinks, boat rides to the keys, fishing, picnics, snorkeling devises, hot water, wonderfull rooms (4 of them facing the beach), privacy, silence and a long etc of pleasure and confort. It was attended by its owners and it was simply awesome.

    But now it has new owners. So is time to find out how is it right now. I'm afraid I cant do that. Our currency has devaluated way too much. One dollar = 1820 bolivares. But dollars are sold at 2500, 3000, 3500 bolivares and more!!!

    I cant afford paying 200 $ per day any more.

    We have been in this posada because had been advised from some friends and because the relation quality price was good. The rooms are big and aired, in april we have never need of the fan. The breakfast is good, but not gigantic, the kitchen is discreet, but on a island we have eaten too much cchicken!

    If she is home -and if she is willing to- she will prepare delicious meals for everybody.
    If she is not in town, guest rather eat somewhere else.

    great cakes, breads and dinners.

    The owners, Josefina and Isabel Tinoco, make you feel like part of the family.

    They have a big "patio" and a "zen" garden.

    • In Gran Roque there are approximately 60 posadas, from luxury to simplest managed from roquenos. The luxury pousada are better organized and the kitchen is more elaborated, but remembered that however the rooms are often small and the conditioned air is prohibited. On the island the electric power is produced with the fuel that comes from the continent, therefore less is used and less this paradise is polluted. If travelled in high season my council it is tu turn a littel in the narrow lanes, enter in the several posada, ask the prices and always ask to see the rooms... we have choosen between two posada, both pretty ones, but the less expensive it did not have the television, but the room enormous and was very aired.

    Let's face it... there's no cheap accommodation in Los Roques - and the cheapest posadasturn ut to be unbearably hot, with no air-conditioning and often not even a fan. And Los Roques is hot as hell. All other posadas are much cooler and unbearably expensive. Most people come on a package tour, but if yu come on your own, do it the way we did it: look for a posada you fancy and if they have free rooms, just insist about not paying the full price (the package). Instead of the official 150 dollars all inclusive we ended up paying 65 dollars for the bed. We organised the meals ourselves and the trips: all in all we got by paying 100 dollars a day, which is a good price for Los Roques.

    The posada is tiny, only 6 rooms - and it has hot water, which is rare on Gran Roque. There's two patios where meals are served and a cosy living-room. The rooms are nice and quite spacious, with fan, air-conditioning, TV and a safe.
