Sucks. Like what carol has mentioned, everything here is way to expensive. Theft is also quite common and food not clean.
I suffered from food poisoning after eating from their resturant twice( one from the japanese resturant and one from their pasta place).
If you stay here long enuff(which i hope you dun) you will also find out some other undesriable things.
They steal things. Yes. it is quite common in caracas but i expect better security from a 5 star hotel. Just this week one of my collegues got his laptop stolen.
Because we consultants stay in the hotel for more than 1 month, my collegues told me that they lose certain petty things in their room ( my collegues lost a nice t'shirt, a bottle of cologne and his trousers) over a period of time.
The common excuse from the hotel management will be ´can you please fill out this...... file a police report....... there is nothing we can do.....´ In simple terms they present you with a bunch of red tape from their hotel which means nothing to you.
I am quite lucky that i have only been here for a few weeks, it is just a matter of time when something gets stolen from me.
Nothing outstanding. You will get whatever you need in a simliar 5 star hotel. Although they have cool electronic touch screens, most of the time some of the functions dun really work.
