Cabañas Rancho Alpino: Nice hotel/lodge
Near the "center" (not church!), we found ourselves very comfortable in Rancho Alpino. Nice rooms (we had balcony), quiet, including ok breakfast, minibar, TV.
Unique Quality: The Rancho Alpino has two restaurants, one Pizza where you can eat quite late (rest of down goes to bed early) and one nice restaurant.

Edelweiss Hotel: Nice & Not expensive
Housing and hosting is quite accessable, it is no expensive at all.(Like The Edelwiess Hotel "2 stars" & The Breidenbach huts). But if you like luxury, there are very fancy and expensive places to stay too.(The Frankfurt Hotel & Selva Negra Hotel)

Posada Don Elicio: Family House
We enjoyed a wonderful weekend here. Its like a Chalet, with beautifull rooms. Ita attended by the owners. Good food, they offer lodging ,braefkfast and Dinner.
Amazin view from the room window.
Unique Quality: Private bathrooms, hairdryer, TV , stone terrace for a picnic,lovely living room . Previous reservation needed.

Typical hotel
These are typical little cabin , you get your own little house cabin, and sometimes there is a private little garden or a share garden with other cabin...
Its really a nice experience, remember to bring a jacket , ti may feel cooler than Caracas.

Cabañas Silberbrunnen: Romantic
Precious and romantic place in the mountain, with small cabins with different of capacity (some have kitchen) around each cabins you have a great amount of flowers and vegetation, that make it in a fantastic place I recommend to stay in the one that is down near to the river,these one have a litter private entrance with seat were you can have a romantic dinner with the nature and to listen the sound of the river
