Hotel Triton: Kimpton Boutique Hotels

If your feeling "hip" and want to stay in some nice digs for a couple of nights...Hotel Triton is a great spot located right next to the Gate of Chinatown.
I've returned here time and time again. I Like the modern decor, the large beds with nice linens, the bathrooms are super clean and they are eco-friendly.
The 5:00 happy hour in the lobby has the feel of upscale lounge where the wine and beer is on the house if you are a paying hotel guest. You can even slip in a friend or two.

Unique Quality: The view out the front side of the building overlooks an historic building that has been remodeled into some pricey town homes.
The view from the otherside has a strait shot up the main street of Chinatown and it's enormous gate.
Hotel Triton is just 3 alley ways away from the French Quarter which hosts a number of Bistros and It's own Vodka Bar. This way you can stumble your way back to the hotel without needing a cab.
