Kewal Persaud and his family run this hotel, next door to their grocery store and is somewhat of a centre of activities.. as their son is getting involved in politics and there are always people chatting, eating or drinking in the lounge. The rooms are rudimentary so is the price, what is priceless is the hospitality of Kewal and his wife Virma.
The kitchen is attached and you can make your food you like or freely participate in the guyanese feast that is laid out at each mealtime depending upon who and how many are there. Not once was I asked to pay for the meal.

Unique Quality: Friendly owners who also own the largest grocery and goods store in town.
