Take the S-Bahn to Treptower Park, go along the Spree for a few 100 mtrs and turn right. You'll feel like being in Moscow, there's a huge monument built on a mausoleum. A lot of Soviet soldiers who fought in Berlin at the end of WWII are buried there.

This is a little town outside Potsdam (You can get there by S-Bahn from Berlin). It's situated on an island, there are many apple trees, old houses, cobblestone streets, Fish restaurants and a gorgeous scenery there! Go there for a day to see something else than cars, houses and traffic jams. You can see pics of our rowing trips in my travelogue!
