Belfast Bits +++ Until I go again...

As the official website of Belfast says:

You've probably read about Belfast in the newspapers, or heard the city mentioned in news bulletins on television or radio. Look behind the headlines, however, and you'll find out there's another side to the story.
City Hall
I went to Belfast on a day trip from Dublin. It was strange to cross a border in Ireland - without being asked for passports but still a border. It was strange to pay in Sterling and to see people queuing to sign the book of condolense for Princess Diana. It felt British but Irish still....
Unfortunately I only had a few hours to spend and as I was on my own and had promised my friends that I wouldn't walk into the "rough" areas I didn't see much of this place. But I can't wait to go back and see more...

Nice wee page. Belfast's definitely worth another visit some day, much safer now than it was in 1997 (not that it was that bad then!). All the best.
