Restaurant Name: Zetor
Zetor is a wild and wonderful place which is hard to describe. Invented by the Leningrad Cowboys this place looks "real" countryside Finland. With lots of wood and tractors - hence the name Zetor which is a tractor factory. The design is amazing, a real Leningrad Cowboys style!
You can dance, drink or dine here - or then all of this. The food is Finnish mixed with Russian and very very nice actually. Even reading the menu is a great laugh!
Unfortunately this place is a bit on the expensive side. Paid 5.70€ for a Lonkero here which was a bit shocking. Food is expensive too but once you get used to the food prices in Helsinki it doesn't shock you any longer ;)
At the weekend it's supposed to be terrible here, but I've been there on an evening during the week twice and it was nice. There's loads of tourists here anytime though.
You can buy Zetor and Leningrad Cowboys Merchandise here, too.
Favorite Dish: The menu itself is really funny. There's a story about every dish there and some of them are very imaginative.
I had a "farmer's bread" which was pork on bread topped with cheese and mushrooms. Rather tasty. The others had tomato soup "a la Finnish army" which was served from an original army tin plate. Funny, I told ya ;)
