I've been on holidays at Lake Thun many times since I was a little kid so I basically know almost every wave of the lake, every street around the lake and every rock of the mountains around the lake.... ;-)
I'll see what I can tell you about this gorgeous place!

PS: The picture you see here shows the famous Swiss mountains Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau as we saw them from a boat trip we took on the Thuner See. I took the picture in summer 96 and the weather had been terrible the week before we got there. The moutains were covered with snow even though it was 30C in the valleys. One of my all time favourite pictures (and if someone tells you it's not mine - don't believe it, it is and so are all the pictures on my Switzerland pages!! |
