Hi!

I am from Hannover in Northern Germany. I have lived here all my life but I moved to Düsseldorf in the end of May 2002.

Even though Düsseldorf is the city where there's a lot more going on there are quite a few things I miss when I am away from Hannover.

I miss walks in the beautiful parks, the great zoo, my friends, all the nice bars and pubs, Saturday mornings in town, the great atmosphere at the football, breakfasts on sunday morning, not getting lost driving around town or being able to take a tram home (unlike in Düsseldorf where public transport is a nightmare), pub quizzes etc etc.

I have only realised three years ago when Hannover hosted the Expo 2000 what a great place it is to live. Before I hated it with a passion - I probably believed all the people who have never been here but claim that Hannover is boring (and there are many, believe me!).

I have added a few travelogues with quite a few of my EXPO pictures so that you can see the different (amazing) nation pavilions and other parts of the EXPO!

Apart from that there are many more travelogues - some of them will always remain unfinished I suppose ;) I'm constantly working on this site - as this will still be my home even though I live in Düsseldorf :-) I bet I'll come back for many a weekend...
