  • 1825 the first public railway was opened between Darlington and Stockton. That's why Darlington has a brick train, one of the funniest statues I've ever seen!

  • Middlesbrough is an industrial town in the North East of England. Its main attraction (for me at least) is the Transporter Bridge - a highlight of Bridge engineering!

  • An Elizabethan Home with nice gardens and lots of nice pictures - even a real Renoir.

    The house is located between York and Bridlington (A 166). 35 miles from York, 25 miles from Hull.
