I started out a Nebraska girl, bled Husker red, lived for a while in London and Scotland and somehow ended up in the small town South Dakota in the home of the Corn Palace, back to Nebraska (to settle for MORE than 2 years!), then off to jobs in Tennessee, New Zealand and Alaska in quick sucession. I just can't seem to stay "home!"

Now I'm off for most of the year to Bryce Canyon National Park in southern Utah! I'm ready for this adventure!

I have a few hobbies that I love to combine with travelling. One that works great is BookCrossing. It involves leaving a book "in the wild" for others to find and then being able to track its journey online. This works well because if you pack a bunch of books, you can leave them along your travel route, giving them to other travelers, leaving them on hostel book exchange shelves, etc. Then your books get to travel, too!
