Welcome to tini58de's Colorful World

by tini58de - last update: Mar 6, 2008

Back from Valencia/Spain
Well, I am not here as much as I want to be, but I am just really busy! As the
Euromeet 2008
is getting closer, this also means quite a bit of extra hours here at the computer and on the phone!!! But we sure are looking forward to meeting you all!

Other than that we have recently returned from a short trip to beautiful Valencia/Spain plus not too long ago from a wonderful week in Riga/Latvia and a weekend in wonderful Hamburg. Please do have a look at these two pages, although you still might have to be patient with me!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I can't keep up with building new pages, because it seems like I am traveling too much! These are usually short trips over weekends or so, but the destinations and experiences are so wonderful that it takes awhile for me to let things settle....!
Pages that I will have to build, complete or update include (to take just June and July destinations): Katowice/Poland, Munich/Germany, Berwang/Austria and Bad Wimpfen/Germany !!!
So please do stop by again and check them out!
Pssssssssssssst!!! Have you heard the news????
Sign up for the Euromeet 2008 here in Karlsruhe!!!
Looking forward to meeting you!
My latest new or updated pages include:
Riga
Bolzano
Welschnofen/Nova Levante
Katowice
(under construction)
Nancy
Sardegna
(under construction)
Cagliari (under construction)
Enjoy them and leave a comment, please!
Future plans???
March 2008: Valencia/Spain
April 2008: Rome/Italy
May 30 - June 1, 2008: Euromeet in Karlsruhe/Germany
A little bit about myself
I am from Germany, now living near Karlsruhe. I have been fortunate to visit many countries around the world and get to know people in all different parts of the world!
And since I made friends here and there, I am much more aware of the different places and I am more concerned about what's going on there.
Especially my sponsored children in Bolivia, Mali, Brazil and China make my world a smaller one, because I have the feeling, that they are my family and I feel very close to them.
If you are interested in this aspect of sponsoring children or projects around the world, please feel free to browse through the most interesting website of Plan International or feel free to ask about the orphanage MDC = Meu Direito a Crescer (My Right to Grow) near Sao Paulo! - you might want to reach out and give a hand to a child in need yourself! Read about the recent situation here!
Other than that I had the once in a lifetime chance to be a bone marrow donor to a young Polish girl in 2003 - and in November 2005 I finally was able to contact her: she is now a lovely young lady of 19, a student of English and best of all is that her body has accepted the bone marrow and she is alive and well!!! Isn't that wonderful in the true sense of the word??? In March 2006 we finally met in person - read about it on my Krakow page!
My latest project is my personal website with ebay to support the children of the MCD orphanage! With every bid you can also support those children there! Thanks so much in advance!
