Town Between the Parks

by Easty - last update: Jun 13, 2004

Moab, Utah

A Mesa off UT Route 128 near Moab
Moab is by far the largest town in Southeastern Utah. It is in close proximity of Arches National Park, La Sal Mountains, and Canyonlands National Park. This page will not concentrate on the Arches (I will build a page on that later). This page is about Moab and the surrounding area that is not part of the Arches National Park. Even without the Arches being nearby, the scenery in this area is amazing.

Pros:"Moab is a convient place to see the Arches and Canyonlands NP"
Cons:"Can be quite touristy"
In A Nutshell:"Moab is at the center of great scenery."

It looks like we've covered alot of the same ground this year. I loved Moab and southeastern Utah too! Great intro photo.

Good, useful info for an upcoming trip. The scenery looks great not even being in a N.P. Thanks

Good tips and page on Moab. :) One place in the SW that I keen on seeing! Someday I'd like to do some bicycling there, as I've heard heard that it's popular for.

Loved your photos. Very accurate information too. I'm hoping to see this part of Utah on a future trip. Thanks for the info and thanks for the comments on the Rocky Mountain Page!
