Welcome to the Spa of Emperors ... * Yodel greeting
REICHENAU nestles in the Eastern part of the Alps only one hour drive from Vienna.
It is a most romantic, idyllic and nature-lovers paradise. I should know, I used to live there and was born only a stonethrow from that area :)....
The area even has it's own special brew... a beer named after a famous patron of the area: Raxkoenig .... Raxkoenig-Beer

| Austria Winter wonderland |
| | Heaven in spring, summer, fall & winter :) Reichenau is truly a 4 season destination for single travellers as well as families and extreme tourists. The area caters for everybodies taste and has generally great climatic conditions and it's own "micro-climate" that is said to have healing qualities especially for those with heart and lung problems.... it has been a Spa for centuries and even the Austrian-Habsburg Emperors came often as they also had hunting chalets in these forests. |
