L.M.-A Look Inside | Creek Park, La Mirada (California) |
La Mirada is a suburb of Los Angeles, located southeast of the city. In Spanish, "la mirada" means the look. OK, She is quite small to mention at depth but I include mention of her for the follwing reasons:
1. She's a gateway city, convenient both to Los Angeles and to Orange county, my main features of "Tales..."
2. It is a feature theater town and slowly but surely, I want to present all the charming ones I come across on my pages
3. To showcase the unknown part of greater L.A. area and make a contrast page to, say, Hollywood, definitely the extreme opposite fo LM with its fast, eccentric style of urban life.
Certainly, you won't see a big sign in white letters greeting you here in La Mirada but there is an attractive quality to this place just a few miles where I am. |

|  | Creek Park A nice spot to relax here is Creek Park, almost hidden from one's sight when going down the major streets, especially on the major Imperial Hwy. that runs through the city. |
No "Off the beaten path" tip will be here... because all of La Mirada is so! |

oh yeah! la mirada baby! just play'n, it's pretty boring if you ask me, but that's why there's other parts of la and oc to venture out to. love the creek though! |
