Welcome to my North Thailand home page. In March 2002 I spent 3 nights at the Empress hotel in Chiang Mai.
Me and wife toured local buddhist temples, local factories which make Thai umbrellas and wooden furniture. We also visited the Maesa elephant training camp which was a magical experience.
The main picture here is some local meo tribe women. These were pictured at the Chiang Mai night market. This market is a shoppers dream and offers the cheapest goods I have seen in Thailand. Just be prepared to haggle ;) |
