It's been almost 10 years since my last visit - to the Great Barrier Reef.
A lot has changed over the years.
I felt people are more open & friendly these days. Less discriminatory as well.
It was a 1-week vacation to Tasmania & the record-setting of the 7th continent that brought me here again on Christmas 2004.
It was also the first time I had an Aussie-style Christmas & New Year.
I was on board the Qantas flight to Melbourne on Christmas Eve & New Year night.
First time I saw flight attendants dressing up for Christmas & New Year. Quite comical, I thought.

Errrrr, I didn't get his name or phone no. ( ;-) ).
Simply snapped a pix of his ridiculous hat (but he looks cool in it anyway) & off I went to sleep!
Geez, it was a very short flight (8 hours or so) to sleep.
These "rascals" will wake u up for breakfast! (Esp. on Christmas Day!)
I think they get some (cheap) thrill waking us all up!!!

The first light of Christmas.
I don't think I had ever seen it until that very day. I mean I've never woken up so early on Christmas Day!
It was special. Like a new hope.
