I enjoyed my trip in Taipei very much. There are many local food to try eg. pancakes, kebabs, sausages, chinese "very very very" hot pot, village food etc. They have stinky tofu too...but theirs are not as stinky as those in Hongkong. =P There is their famous IT mall Guang Hua Shang Chang that sells pc stuff. If you are into manga (in chinese), come here and buy too! Cause' Taiwan is the main place where they are printed. I dragged home a luggage half filled with comics..^_^" Their karaoke rooms over here are fantastic too! Personal toilet..unlimited refreshments and tasty titbits. The taiwanese youngsters are also very "ha ri" i.e. they follow japanese trend very closely and you can find a lot of kawaii stuff here too. Remember to visit the Shih Lin Night Market and Wulai hot springs!! It's a pity I didn't get to try out the natural hot springs but don't worry 'cause "I'll be back!" |

Loved the restaurant tips, just outstanding. Good hotel tips, also. You have a nice writing style, and your photographs that accompany the commentary just add to the great experience of visiting your work. | JLBG Fri Mar 18, 2005 04:21 UTC Interesting page. I will remember the technique to taste the steamed dumplings |
