Mr. Blue Sky's up there waiting...

1. Do not stare directly into the sun.

Marbella Shore
Can we say "gorgeous"? All together now! "g-o-r-g-e-o-u-s!!!!!"

Malaga, Spain (or was it Marbella, Spain?) is absolutely beautiful. It's touristy to the EXTREME but so picturesque. Several Brits vacation at this popular holiday destination, so I felt right at home (as if I'd never left London!)

However...I believe I got what might be called a "sunburn." I've never been sunburned in my life (like most other darker skinned people, I suppose). I usually tan quite easily. However, this time, I turned a slight pinkish brown. I didn't turn nearly as red as my friends tend to do, but my forearms B*U*R*N*E*D and itched. (like a yeast infection!...but not...) Anyway, it scared the bajesis outta me and I freaked out and poured entire bottles of lotion and aloe all over me. I am now soft and supple and moisturized for the next month or so.

Besides the sunburn, Malaga was fantastic and I suggest everyone go and sit on the beach and just RELAX (this means, no cellphones, no laptops, no work, just don't MOVE.)
Me on a mountain road to Ronda

Mountain road to Ronda village

Sometimes you get bored with the beach.

I know I did. So I made my parents get up and get out of the resort and drive up and around a mountain to get to the cutest little village called Ronda. It's very touristy, very mountainous and the road to it is quite treacherous and vertigo inducing. But it's lovely and my mom bought a gorgeous, crisp, white linen tablecloth and matching napkins.

Overall, fun little trip, make sure you go with a safe and careful driver and lots of money for village-y souvenirs!

Don't I look relaxed?

There really is nothing that interesting in Malaga to write about. You relax, tan, drink, eat, and slather on more sunblock!

Horseback riding, snorkeling, golf, tennis, etc. Now I see why it's such a popular vacationing spot. It's not a city, not even much of a suburb. Just beaches, cars, and Brits!

Seriously though. Don't I look relaxed?
