Trapped at StalingradAfter midnight we walk down the the metro and unfortunately while changing trains in our favourite metro stop called "Stalingrad" (how on earth can you call a station like that?) we miss the last metro. It's cold ... but then again we shouldn't complain. I think German froze more in Stalingrad before us ;-)
The taxi home costs us a fortune and we walk the last bit trying to avoid all the "Knutschtouristen" (kissing tourists). Famous last words of the night "I have no mouth" :-) | About VirtualTourist VirtualTourist provides advice and recommendations from real travelers like you. Nikos | Mikebb Mon Apr 2, 2007 23:11 UTC Hi Sabs, Enjoyed your tips they will be a great help when we have 3 day stopover late May. Your car travelogue was amusing, I am sure not for you. We are staying at Sorbonne, appears close to your flat? | sprdak11 Sat Nov 18, 2006 10:58 UTC Interesting page about Paris with nice pictures. Best wishes. | Nemorino Sat Sep 2, 2006 10:06 UTC Great travelogue on your 1992/93 trip! I don't remember that Mike Oldfield song, but it sounds appropriate. Were all your Paris visits in the winter? I was there for ten days in June this year and had a fine time. |
