The weather changes quickly in Bergen, and you'll most likely need a water-resistant coat or (if it's not too windy, which it often is) an umbrella. There are actually several vending machines in central Bergen where you can buy umbrellas..! In a city this rainy, rubber boots are of course a fashion item, and you'll find colourful, cute rubber boots for sale everywhere...;-)
Also bring a warm sweater, even in summer - those bright, light summer nights might be chilly.
