This page is dedicated to my dear mother.

She had been a teacher. Everytime I went travelling, she asked me to take photos of schools and schoolkids. And to bring her local schoolbooks. She died 1999 and I miss her so much!

These are now some of the pictures I brought her from my travels. It was always much fun taking photos of children. I met a lot of interesting people, when I asked for books, which the kids use in their first year of school.
