So finally this bus arrived and we started our adventurous trip to Mehrum. The journey takes a little more than a hour. The bus passes through some nice villages. Interesting of these is Ilten, where a big sanatory is for mentally ill people. |
|  | Church Like all German villages Mehrum of course has a church. This is built in the late 18hundreds. Very clean, very nice. |
| | Crossing This may be the most frequented crossing in Mehrum. |
| | Farmhouse This is the typical courtyard of a farmer's house in Mehrum. Most farmers have ajob beside their farm. |
| | Cat The sun was nice and warm, nothing seemed to disturb the qietness at noon in Mehrum. |
| | Power plant We were looking for a pub to have a beer and maybe something to eat. But we only found this big power station. |
| | Waiting We waited about an hour for a bus, that took us back to Hannover. There is no pub, no restaurant in Mehrum. |
| | Happy! I was so happy, when I could go back to Hannover!
Mehrum is nothing you have to regret, if you did not see it!
It is a quiet nice place. But I prefer the city! |
